Hair Growth Tips
My biggest piece of advice in the girl talk world: 9 times out of 10, you’re missing moisture. Moisture overload is possible but it’s wayyyyyyy less common than dry, dehydrated hair.
One common rhetoric I saw about #cecred was that it’s too expensive. It’s salon grade products so yes it’ll be up there in price similar to olaplex, amika, redken, mizani, etc.
To no one’s surprise, I liked it. Why tho? It is great at majority of our number 1 need — moisture. The hydrating shampoo and moisturizing masque were great at what they were made to do. So if you’re looking for products that do that yes I would suggest these as well. I have not tried the restoring drops (and I likely dont plan to) but it seems as tho they work wonders. The ingredients may be step down from minoxidil (the typical hair growth aid).
This line tho follows suit with what I will always advise as key. Keep it cleansed, hydrated, moisturized and then do a protective style.
let me know what you think if you tried their products and follow me on TikTok if you like what you see 💗
One of the biggest reasons hair growth can stall or hair strands become weak is the lack of proper moisture balance. Many people struggle with dry, dehydrated hair, which can lead to breakage and slow growth. The key is to prioritize hydrating products that replenish moisture without causing buildup. CECRED is a salon-grade hair care line commonly discussed in hair growth #cecred communities. Though some find it pricey, its hydrating shampoo and moisturizing masque are specifically formulated to restore hydration, making them excellent options for combating dryness. These products focus on repairing the hair’s moisture barrier—a critical step to healthy hair growth. While restoring drops from the line are popular, they may not replace clinically proven hair growth aids like minoxidil but can support overall hair health. Beyond choosing the right products, consistent hair care routines play an important role. This includes regular, gentle cleansing to remove impurities without stripping natural oils, thorough hydration, and moisturizing steps. Using deep conditioning and moisturizing masks regularly can dramatically reduce hair dryness and brittleness. Also crucial is adopting protective hairstyles that shield hair from environmental damage and mechanical stress—both of which hinder hair growth. Styles such as braids, twists, or buns help minimize breakage and retain length. Combining these approaches ensures hair remains strong, hydrated, and better positioned for healthy growth. If you decide to try CECRED or similar high-quality hydration products, be sure to maintain protective styling and a gentle cleansing routine. Remember, while product choice affects hair health, the lifestyle around hair maintenance—like avoiding heat damage, limiting harsh chemical treatments, and maintaining balanced nutrition—is just as important in supporting sustained hair growth.
