the marine parade/joo chiat area is a hidden gem to cafes and furniture stalls!🛋️ there are also limited time exhibitions tucked in the alleyways~
we visited kings cart coffee, big short coffee and 174 bingo!☕️
big short coffee was absolutely amazing omgawdd,, the queue looked long but it moves quite quickly! when we first entered the cafe, we were greeted with the fragrant aroma of the coffee beans! moreover, its drinks were delicious!! i got the little tea (spring 2025 menu)🌸 the arufa ax cold brew was very intensed, and it balanced out perfectly with the genmaicha tea and raspberry's citrusy flavour profile. that drink was also incredibly eye catching as it was topped with juniper hydrosol bubbles!🫧 (basically bubbles on top of the drink) so i thought you might be curious as to how it tastes like! well, the bubbles are texture>taste HAHA it tastes slightly sour? much like berries. nonetheless, it adds a fun touch to the drink, i still enjoyed it though!🍹
