Low views on Facebook ?
Ever feel like your Facebook posts are just shouting into the void? You put in the effort, you share something you think is great, and then… crickets. I’ve definitely been there, and it’s incredibly frustrating when you see your views just plummet. It made me wonder, 'Why are my views low on Facebook, and what are these issues limiting the performance of my post?' What I’ve learned is that Facebook isn’t just randomly hiding your content. There’s often an underlying reason, and it can sometimes boil down to what some call your 'internal score.' This isn't something you can easily check in your settings, but it's Facebook's way of measuring your trustworthiness and integrity on the platform. A low integrity score can severely affect how widely your content is shown, impacting your reach significantly. It's essentially Facebook's algorithm giving you a quiet timeout, or what's often referred to as shadow limiting. So, what causes this mysterious 'internal score' to drop? From my experience, a few common pitfalls can really hurt your account. One big one is using excessive clickbait. While a catchy headline might grab attention initially, Facebook's algorithm is smart. They don't play when it comes to deceptive content. If your posts consistently promise more than they deliver, or use sensational headlines that don't match the content, it signals low integrity. This can lead to your content being shown to fewer people, even if it's otherwise good. Another major culprit that I’ve learned to avoid is 'follow for follow' schemes. It’s tempting to try and boost your follower count quickly, but Facebook wants organic engagement. When you engage in follow for follow, you're building an audience that isn't genuinely interested in your content, which tells the algorithm that your posts aren't valuable. This inevitably lowers your reach because Facebook prioritizes showing content to people who are most likely to engage with it genuinely. Besides, why do an exchange of follows when you're not even engaging with their content? That doesn't even make sense for building a community. To improve your 'internal score' and boost your reach, the key is to be original and focus on quality. Instead of chasing vanity metrics, concentrate on creating valuable, authentic content that truly resonates with your audience. Encourage genuine conversations, ask questions, and respond thoughtfully to comments. This signals to the Facebook algorithm that your content is engaging and that you're building a real community, not just collecting followers. While there isn’t a direct 'how to check' your internal score, you can keep an eye on your Page Quality or Creator Studio for any flags or violations, which are indicators of how Facebook views your account's health. By focusing on organic growth and authentic interactions, you'll find your views slowly but surely start to climb again.
