From my personal experience experimenting with different lip combos, the key is to layer a nourishing lip balm underneath a high-shine lip gloss. This not only enhances the gloss’s appearance but also prevents dryness, making your lips look fuller and healthier. One of my favorite routines starts with exfoliating the lips gently to remove dead skin cells. A smooth base allows the combo to apply evenly and last longer. After exfoliation, I apply a moisturizing lip balm that has natural oils like jojoba or almond oil. Once the balm is absorbed, I top it with a glossy lip product that has a non-sticky formula for ultimate comfort. Additionally, choosing lip glosses with light-reflecting particles or a sheer tint helps in creating a multidimensional effect that makes the lips pop naturally. I recommend carrying a small lip gloss in your bag for quick touch-ups throughout the day to maintain that fresh, glossy finish.
