Rating the books I Read in July

2024/8/6 Edited to

... Read moreIn July, I dove into a mix of captivating and thought-provoking novels. Among them, notable reads included "The Bluest Eye" by Toni Morrison, a poignant story that received a 5-star rating for its impact and narrative elegance. Another standout was "A Lesson Before Dying" by Ernest J. Gaines, which garnered 4.5 stars for its emotional depth and moral lessons that resonate deeply. For fans of contemporary romance, Alexis Daria’s "Take the Lead" surprised me with its sparkling narratives, earning a solid 3.5 stars. Zoraida Córdova’s "The Kiss" also captured my heart and scored similarly. These books embody the varied genres I explored, showcasing not only pleasure reading but also significant themes that can provoke critical thinking. Each selection contributed uniquely to my literary journey this month, fueling my passion for books as I continue to seek diverse voices and stories in my reading list.
