I didn’t think that would happen.. 😅
from praying in the dish pit to telling people about Jesus while selling funko - what a night lol
One of the most memorable and surprising experiences I've had recently was during a night that completely caught me off guard. After a regular shift that started with me praying quietly in the dish pit, I ended up sharing the gospel with strangers while selling Funko Pop collectibles. It’s funny how life takes you on spontaneous turns! Selling Funko Pops usually attracts a lot of pop culture fans who are there just to enjoy and purchase figurines from favorite movies, TV shows, or comics. I hadn’t expected that this would become an opportunity to share something much deeper, like my faith. It all started with casual conversations that gradually shifted into meaningful discussions about spirituality and beliefs. The unexpected nature of the event reminded me that sometimes the best moments come when we least expect them. When you're passionate about what you do, whether it’s selling collectibles or helping others, those genuine moments of connection can happen anywhere—even while working in the dish pit or at a pop culture event. This experience reaffirmed for me the importance of staying open to whatever comes your way during the day. It’s all about being ready to share your story and your beliefs authentically. Unexpected interactions can become powerful moments of encouragement and inspiration not only for others but for ourselves. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, don’t hesitate to engage and share your experiences. You never know when a casual conversation about a Funko Pop could turn into an opportunity to uplift someone else’s spirit or ignite a meaningful dialogue about faith and life.
