Why fast shoes don't mean friends should wear them every day.
A fast running shoe doesn't mean it fits every day.
This is a story that many runners often misunderstand.
See a pair of shoes light, bouncy, with carbon plate, with superfoam foam
Wear and feel darted, wear and feel good, wear and feel like yourself faster.
So I thought,
"Isn't it better to wear this pair every day?"
The answer is not necessary.
And in many cases, it may not be the smartest choice.
Because most fast shoes are designed to "help run more efficiently" on days when the body is ready to use speed.
Not designed to be a shoe that fits every load, every pace, every day, every leg condition.
Many pairs of fast shoes have very responsive foam.
There is geometry that allows the feet to roll forward faster.
There are carbon plates or reinforcing plates that enhance strength and ejection force.
Lightweight
Feeling more aggressive than regular sparring shoes.
All of this makes it "fast."
But what needs to be understood is
Derived speed often comes with certain conditions.
Some fast shoes provide less stability.
Some couples force us to get off our feet and shoot the weight in more specific ways.
Some pairs are very tall, but lightweight, so they don't provide as much as sparring shoes.
Some pairs are suited to running a fast pace, but are not as comfortable when taken to run easy slowly.

But it doesn't mean it's a tool that should be used for every task.
Like a sports car, good speed, good response, fun curve.
But that doesn't mean it's suitable for driving to buy rice every day on rough roads.
Fast shoes are the same.
It suits the day we need a performance.
Such as tempo run, interval, race pace, some form of long run, or race day.
But on an easy day, run.
Recovery Day

The day the body wasn't ready.
Or days that just go out to collect gently
Fast shoes may not be that necessary.
The problem is that many people start getting addicted to shoe feeds early.
Enough to wear ordinary practice shoes and feel no bounce, feel slow, feel heavy, feel no fun.
So go back to wear shoes early every day
Finally, not us faster, but we're starting to rely more on shoes.
And even more dangerous, we may start to overmeasure the value of practice.
Easy runs that should be light become too fast.
Recovery runs that should be used to recover. It becomes semi-tempo.

If today tempo or interval,
Pick up a more responsive shoe.
If race day
Use shoes that give you the highest performance.
Like this, fast shoes are more valuable.
Because it was used on a really appropriate day.
