Many people when buying running shoes.
Often want "one pair ends."
Easy to wear.
You can wear Tempo.
You can wear Interval.
You can wear Long Run.
Can still wear racing
Sounds worth it....But in fact, each practice requires a different shoe.
Easy Run needs comfort, stability and helps the body relax.
Tempo needs better responsive shoes, faster delivery.
Interval needs more agility, light weight and stimulating feeds around the legs.
Long Run needs a good enough supply in the long run.
Race days may need shoes that help iron out as much performance as possible.
The problem is, a pair of shoes can do anything.
But that doesn't mean it's "best" for everything.
Very soft shoes. May be comfortable on Easy Day.
But when you take it to practice quickly, it may feel uncomfortable, retarded, or difficult to control.
Shoes that bounce and are very fast.
It might be fun on Tempo Day or Race Day.
But if you put it on every day, the body may accumulate fatigue without knowing it.
Racing Shoes with Carbon Plate
Might help run faster on days of performance needs.
But it doesn't mean it should be used in every session.
Because running shoes are not just responsible for making us run faster.
But it should help us "rehearse more on purpose."
Light day. Shoes should help to be real light.
Fast days. Shoes should make it easy to spin around the legs.
Long days. Shoes should help keep the body comfortable. Can prop up the range.
Race day. Shoes should help us pull off potential.
If using the wrong shoes
That session could lose quality, too.
Easy Run may become too soon.
Tempo may become tired but not slippery.
Interval may feel heavy feet.
Long Run may end with more cumulative fatigue than it should.
Having multiple pairs of shoes doesn't always mean extravagant.
If each pair has a clear function,
There's no need for a lot.
But should know which pair is suitable for what
A pair for a comfortable rehearsal day.
A Pair for Quality Day
And there could be another pair for race days or days that need more Performance.
In the end, good shoes are not shoes that do everything in the middle.
But the shoes fit the Session we're rehearsing.
Because of a good rehearsal.
Not just pick the right table.
But also have to choose shoes to match the day's work.
จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวในการวิ่งมาหลากหลายรูปแบบ ทำให้เห็นความสำคัญของการเลือกใส่รองเท้าวิ่งให้เหมาะสมกับลักษณะการซ้อมในแต่ละวันอย่างชัดเจน เมื่อก่อนผมเคยคิดว่ารองเท้าวิ่งคู่เดียวก็เพียงพอแล้ว นำรองเท้าที่ดูสวยและใส่สบายมาใช้ซ้อมทุกวัน ทั้ง Easy Run และ Tempo Run หรือแม้แต่วันแข่ง จนวันหนึ่งพบว่ารอบขาเริ่มช้าลง รู้สึกเหนื่อยง่าย และสะสมความล้าอย่างไม่รู้ตัว นั่นเป็นเพราะรองเท้าที่ใช้งานไม่ได้ตอบโจทย์กับรูปแบบของการฝึกซ้อมนั้นๆ รองเท้าวิ่งที่เหมาะกับ Easy Run จะเน้นความนุ่มสบาย และช่วยลดแรงกระแทกระหว่างวิ่ง เพื่อให้ร่างกายฟื้นตัวได้ดี ส่วน Tempo Run และ Interval จะเน้นรองเท้าที่มีน้ำหนักเบา มีความตอบสนองดี ช่วยให้ปั่นขาได้ง่ายและเร็วขึ้น ในวันซ้อมยาวหรือ Long Run นั้น ต้องเลือกใช้รองเท้าที่มีการซัพพอร์ตที่ดี เพราะระยะทางที่ไกลจะทำให้ร่างกายรับแรงกระแทกและความล้าที่สะสมมากขึ้น รองเท้าที่เหมาะสมจะช่วยลดโอกาสการบาดเจ็บและเพิ่มความสบายในการวิ่ง และในวันแข่งจริง รองเท้าที่มีแผ่นคาร์บอนหรือเทคโนโลยีช่วยรีดประสิทธิภาพ จะช่วยให้เราได้รับโอกาสวิ่งได้เร็วขึ้นและดึงศักยภาพออกมาได้เต็มที่ แต่ไม่ควรใช้รองเท้าคู่แข่งนั้นฝึกซ้อมทุกวัน เพราะอาจเกิดความล้าที่สะสมและเสี่ยงบาดเจ็บได้ จากประสบการณ์นี้ แนะนำให้มีรองเท้าทั้งหมด 2-3 คู่ ที่แบ่งตามการใช้งาน เช่น คู่หนึ่งสำหรับ Easy Run, คู่สำหรับซ้อมความเร็ว หรือวันคุณภาพ และอีกคู่สำหรับวันแข่งหรือวันที่ต้องการประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด เพื่อให้การซ้อมเกิดประโยชน์เต็มที่และลดความเสี่ยงที่อาจเกิดขึ้นกับร่างกาย ท้ายที่สุด การเลือกรองเท้าที่เหมาะสมกับ Session การซ้อม ไม่เพียงแต่จะช่วยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพ แต่ยังช่วยให้คุณเพลิดเพลินกับการวิ่งอย่างยั่งยืนและปลอดภัยมากขึ้นอีกด้วย
