Summer in Michigan is truly a special time, and it brings with it so many unique experiences that I love sharing. One of the highlights has to be indulging in some of the best local eats. For example, the charcuterie board at the wine bar in Frankenmuth is something I keep coming back to — it's a perfect blend of flavors and looks heavenly on any summer evening. Besides great food, summer means heading to local fairs where you can enjoy classic treats like funnel cakes. These fairs perfectly capture the nostalgic summer vibe and give a chance to connect with the community. I like to start my mornings with a refreshing walk, soaking up the warmth and energy of the season — it really helps set a positive tone for the day. On a lighter note, watching my bearded dragon experience its first glimpse of summer sunshine was a charming moment that reminded me to appreciate the little joys of the season. When evening falls, catching the sunset from rooftop bars like The Hamilton in downtown is unbeatable. The classy atmosphere combined with breathtaking views makes it a top spot for unwinding. Overall, summer in Michigan offers a great mix of outdoor adventures, local culinary treats, and memorable moments. Whether you're a local or visiting, embracing these experiences can make your summer truly unforgettable.
