TORONTO MUST DOs 🇨🇦

🌊 niagara falls

ngl… a lil underwhelming when u first arrive. in pics it looks MAJESTIC but irl it’s abit catfish HAHA plus with all the railings and barriers, it’s actually quite hard to get a good photo from the top. crowds were insane (as expected). PRO TIP: eat before u go in because there are only like 1 or 2 food places nearby and everything is stupidly overpriced. niagara is 100% a tourist trap so pls protect your wallet. for more food options, u’ll need to walk further away from the falls area

BUT the one thing u MUST do is the voyage to the falls boat tour (~35 CAD/pax). the boat brings u SUPER close to the falls and THATS when it finally feels majestic. very fun, very wet, 10/10 worth it

dinner at niagara brewing company: if u’re into beers, highly recommend! they had really unique flavours and we got the beer flight (8 flavours… abit much but will totally get it again). totally not my alcoholism speaking…

🍷buy ice wine!!

ontario especially niagara region is famous for ice wine and OMG… MUST TRY AND STOCK UPPP. my top 2 brands: peller estate & inniskillin. it’s sweet dessert wine made from grapes that freeze on the vine, concentrating the sugars. SUPER SUPER GOOD and surprisingly not artificially sweet. all natural, no added sugars. too easy to drink vv dangerous

🏰 casa loma

a majestic castle in the middle of nowhere. gothic revival-style mansion with gardens! it is very aesthetic, very photo-worthy. but beyond that… not much else going on. also had to climb quite a few flights of stairs just to get up there (leg day?). we didn’t buy tickets to go inside so can’t comment on the exhibits

🍻 bar hopping (a must in toronto)

toronto is known for its craft brewery scene so OBVIOUSLY we had to bar hop. we did in this order: blood brothers → burdock → bandit

blood brothers - loved the industrial warehouse vibe with all the brewing machines. they’re known for sour beers and YES I GET IT. sour and fruit-forward beers were SO GOOD! ⭐️ reccos: peach mango sour, lychee sour! bloodlight pale ale was ok but nothing memorable. bbq wings were kinda overpriced i’d skip the bar bites and focus on the beers

burdock - wasnt on the original plan but the other place we wanted to pop by was closed… had the revel cider + mango lime sour (can u tell i love sours). bar food here was more reasonably priced compared to blood brothers but apart from that its an ok place…

bandit - WILL 100% COME BACK. my fav of the 3. food selection was way more extensive and everything looked damn good. we got the beer-battered cheese curds + yoyo raspberry blueberry beer smoothie (smoothie sour). we were too full to order more and that is my biggest regret 🚨highly recommend coming here FIRST, then hopping elsewhere

🍅 try clamato caesar

we tried it at score on king! it is their signature hangover drink - a savoury cocktail (who cures a hangover with another cocktail?? but ok pop off). ingredients: vodka, horseradish, tabasco, worcestershire, celery salt & clamato juice.

basically… spiked spicy cold tomato soup LOL. sounds disgusting but the more u drink it, the better it gets?? honestly feels like it’d taste better heated up HAHAHA so yes… tomato soup

If you love animals, you NEED to visit Chiang Mai
As someone who REALLY loves going to the zoo and seeing animals up close, Chiang Mai was honestly one of the best places I’ve ever visited! My mum actually engaged a private driver to bring us around to all these places, but you can also easily book day trip packages through Klook! One thing

First time in Bali, and we were so ready to tick off all the must-dos — especially hiking Mount Batur at sunrise. 🌋 But monsoon season had other plans. Heavy rain meant the ground was wet, slippery, and honestly not safe or enjoyable to hike. So we pivoted (no regrets) and did the jeep ride inst
