Saving the Best for Last 👀
1. My dad and I are Miami Dolphins fan who reside/used to reside in Buffalo Bills land. I don’t really recall when I started liking the team, but I love the colors because it’s a combo I would have never thought to put together 💭
2. My school has this day in the spring called Dolphy Day, where we “celebrate the spring” 🌸 In reality it’s a school sanctioned, semi-sponsored 12 hour binge drinking day! 🤫 It’s an annual event and the day is chosen at random by “the wizard” 🪄 who is a member of the rugby team. The event is recognized by the city of Syracuse and everything!
I don’t remember this picture being taken 🤪but it was THE BEST Dolphy day for my friends and I.
3. I was an extra in the movie called “The Binge” on Hulu 🍿 I was able to catch myself about 3x in it which was nifty. I took this “role” while waiting to start my career in another city and to make some extra cash. I really didn’t think I would be selected, but it’s a sweet memory I have!
SN: The movie is similar to Dolphy Day at my Alma mater, but for this one, alcohol and drugs are allowed for 24 hours and the movie is about how a group of high schoolers take advantage of the day!
4. To my utmost surprise I found family on 23 & Me! I originally had my DNA tested to find out “who I am” on my 21st birthday. But I found out something even great roughly a year later. Someone messaged me that 23 & Me recognized as my second cousin. They messaged me because they were looking for their grandfather. I told my mom about it for kicks and giggles and we exchanged emails. Turns out we are related from my grandfathers side and we helped her (me new found cousins) find out who their grandfather was!! My mom still talks to many of them (some daily) even 5 years after this event 😯 and some even sent gifts when I had my son.
I met sooo many cousins this night and didn’t get to meet them all, but I follow several on instagram now and have a brief glimpse of their life from time to time 🤗
