Montessori on a budget

I’m new to Montessori but I do love a lot of things from it! Trying to learn more about it, if you have any advice please let me know🤗

Also I know this says Montessori but you can definitely do this if you just want to look for some toys for your kiddos!

I will be posting my thrift finds (toys I have found him) on another post soon.

Also I will be posting about my fashion finds I found at the thrift as well! (Since I’m trying to do my closet over.. since becoming a mama definitely changed my style lol )

... Read moreMontessori education emphasizes hands-on learning and discovery in a supportive environment. For parents on a budget, thrifting offers an excellent avenue to find educational toys that inspire creativity and movement. Look for second-hand stores that often provide significantly cheaper prices for gently used items. In addition, many thrift shops have sales days where specific colors of items are discounted, allowing you to make the most out of your budget. When acquiring toys, choose well-loved options; they often come with a story and still offer immense joy and learning potential for your child. It's also beneficial to explore options like community swaps where parents exchange toys and books, fostering a sense of community and sustainability. As a parent, it's essential to remember that the main goal of Montessori is not to have a perfect collection of toys, but to create an environment where children feel safe and inspired to explore. Utilize resources such as online parenting forums and local parenting groups to share experiences and seek advice on the best Montessori practices for your family.
