Wrapping up study sessions with a quick quiz or summary questions solidifies what I’ve learned throughout the day. Using the Lumist AI tutor to ask three quick questions on the topic before closing my laptop locks the learning in and quickly highlights areas I need to revisit. Maintaining a boring but consistent routine is key to gradual improvement — for me, this steady approach was the engine behind raising my SAT verbal scores significantly. While the process might seem dull, consistent repetition builds strong foundations that enable those big leaps in performance. If you’re struggling to stick with a study routine, I recommend anchoring to a daily habit, using tools that minimize decision-making, and ending each session with a quick review. These small but effective tactics have transformed my SAT preparation and can work for anyone aiming for steady progress.
