Perfect Cameron Highlands Itinerary 2026
Feel free to save my 4D3N itinerary to Cameron Highlands where we visited in June 2026! 😆😆
Transport:
We took the 10h bus ride 🚌 to and from Cameron Highlands. There were few bus options to Cameron and we booked Citiline via EasyBook app for $220 (return trip). EasyBook would update your ride via WhatsApp and email.
To Cameron Highlands: 9pm to 7am (overnight)
From Cameron Highlands: 9am to 7.30pm
Accommodations:
We stayed at Oakwood Cameron Highlands which cost us $350 for 3 nights. We chose it since reviews mentioned that it was one of the newer hotels (some hotels are quite old & moldy due to high humidity) and due to its central location in Cameron. It was nearer to Brinchang area, which was walking distance to Golden Hills night market (open Friday and Saturday only).
Transport:
Used mostly grab to get around, walking might be a little inconvenient or dangerous especially when there are few available pavements for pedestrians. However, the cool temperatures of 17-22 degrees made it enjoyable for walking!
Flow of itinerary:
In Cameron, it seemed to rain frequently and it rained for 2 afternoons so we had to adjust our itinerary a little to head to attractions which were indoors (covered below on where to go👇🏽 ). We planned the itinerary according to the locations of the attractions. It was divided into 3-zone travel map with as minimal backtracking routes as possible:

Day 2️⃣ North (Kea Farm)
Day 3️⃣ Central (Brinchang)

- 🚶20-min walk to Cameron Highland Sign

- 🌱 Mardi Cameron Highlands
- 🛍 Souvenirs shopping at Cameron Fair

Interesting Facts To Share:
1) Klook review for Mossy Forest Half-Day Tour
(SGD $21.49 per adult, mostly outdoors so pray for good weather!)
Tour provided a jeep for travel - 4 people in the cargo area (a little squishy so yall might bump knees especially if you are tall!), 3 in the rear seats and 1 in the front passenger seat. Try to reach earlier to get better seats! Mossy Forest is restricted to tours only and there’s a locked gate that’s accessible to tour guides only. Our tour guide Selan was amazing - thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable. He provided many interesting facts (about different edible plants & tea origins) and made us very comfortable throughout the tour. As mentioned in the description, do take note that the entrance fee to mossy forest is RM30 per adult (not part of tour fee) so do bring cash! Highly recommended overall, and would recommend with this tour group (Cameron RS Venture Travels and Tours)!
2) Sheep Sanctuary is a haven for animal lovers (llama 🦙and sheep 🐑) while Floral Park is a beautiful place to take IG-worth posts with nature. Would recommend to book on Klook at SGD $3.75 per adult (Sheep Sanctuary) and SGD $15.59 per adult (Floral Park) to avoid the queue and hassle of digging for notes).
3) Cameron Night Market/Golden Hills Night Market
(only open Fri, Sat & public holidays) so plan ahead!
4) Plafes to head to if it rains!!
There are 2 malls in Cameron:
a) 🛍️ Cameron Centrum
b) 🛍️ Cameron Fair
And the few indoor attractions would be:
a) 🦋 ZooMania / Butterfly Farm (Kea Farm) (RM15)
b)🌲Time Tunnel Museum (RM10)
c) ⛩ Sam Poh Temple (free entry)
d) 🐝 Highlands Apiary Farm, Bee Farm, Strawberry Farm (free entry)
5) We really enjoy the Time Tunnel Musuem, where we got to indulge in the retro items and history of Cameron Highland). We spent about 2h there reading about Malaysia & Singapore’s perspective in World War II. Highly recommended if you have the patience to enjoy history!!
Overall, we attempted to cover as many attractions as we could, which made it a really fulfilling and enjoyable weekend trip! Would recommend if you are looking for a short getaway break from the bustling cities once in a while! 🌇
