Watercolors keep me sane when traveling

Had a big business trip this week, so I took my paints along to help destress at thee end of a long day. This is everything I painted. some of them are truly terrible, but they helped me recenter all the same.

Traveling for business can often lead to stress and burnout. Engaging in creative activities like watercolor painting can be a wonderful remedy. Art not only allows you to express your emotions but also serves as a form of mindfulness. Painting for just five minutes can free your mind and help you reconnect with your thoughts. Many artists find that capturing the beauty of their surroundings, such as stunning landmarks like Trinity Church in NYC, enhances their travel experience. When traveling, don’t hesitate to bring your sketchbook and paints. Even imperfect results can bring joy and a sense of achievement. It's about the process as much as the product. Combining travel with creativity opens up new perspectives and experiences, which can be grounding and rejuvenating. Aligning your passions with your travels can create lasting memories while providing a much-needed outlet for stress relief. Share your artworks with fellow travelers and invite them to express their creativity, fostering a community along the way.
