Not all water is created equal….💦
Most people don’t realize this, but not all water is created equal.
Tap water and bottled water are often:
• stripped of minerals
• acidic
• stored in plastic (which can leach chemicals, especially in heat)
• treated with chlorine and other additives
Yet water is the one thing we consume more than anything else.
So here’s what I learned when I actually started researching water quality:
💧 Mineral-rich water matters
Your body uses minerals for hydration at the cellular level. When water lacks minerals, it doesn’t hydrate as efficiently because your cells rely on electrolytes to absorb it.
💧 pH balance matters
Many people live in an acidic state due to stress, diet, and environmental factors. Drinking water that supports a more balanced pH can help the body function more efficiently (this is about balance, not extremes).
💧 Molecular structure matters
Smaller water clusters are absorbed more easily by the body, meaning better hydration instead of water just passing through you.
💧 What you don’t want in water matters too
Single-use plastic bottles can expose water to microplastics and chemical leaching, especially when bottles sit in warehouses, trucks, or the sun. Beyond health concerns, the cost adds up fast.
When we switched to producing high-quality water at home:
✔️ We stopped buying cases of plastic bottles
✔️ We save money monthly
✔️ We drink more water naturally
✔️ We’re more intentional about what we put into our bodies
This isn’t about chasing a trend.
It’s about upgrading a daily habit that affects your health long-term.
Water should work with your body, not against it.
If you’ve ever wondered why drinking more water doesn’t always make you feel better…
it might not be the amount — it might be the quality.
Happy to share what we use and what I learned along the way 💧🤍
