หลายคนถามกันบ่อยว่า “ไหว้เจ้าที่ด้วยไข่ต้มกี่ฟองถึงจะดี” หรือ “ไข่ต้มไหว้เจ้าที่ได้ไหม” จากที่เราลองทำเองและถามผู้ใหญ่ในบ้าน คำตอบคือ “ได้” และจำนวนไข่ไม่มีตายตัว แต่ที่นิยมและทำตามง่ายคือ 3–5 ฟอง หรือยึดเลขคู่/เลขมงคลตามความเชื่อบ้านนั้น ๆ ค่ะ ในโพสต์นี้เราใช้ 4 ฟอง (ทำง่าย หาซื้อง่าย) แล้วรู้สึกว่าเป็นจำนวนที่พอดี ไม่เยอะจนเหลือทิ้ง สิ่งที่สำคัญกว่าจำนวน คือความสะอาดและความตั้งใจ ของไหว้เจ้าที่บ้านที่เราเตรียมเป็นเซ็ตเบสิค: ส้ม 5 ผล + ไข่ต้ม 4 ฟอง + น้ำเปล่า 1 ขวด/1 แก้ว และเทียน 1 เล่ม (บางบ้านเพิ่มข้าวสวย 1 ถ้วย หรือดอกไม้ได้ตามสะดวก) ภาพที่เราจัดจริงจะประมาณ “จานลายครามวางส้มกับไข่ และมีเทียนสีเหลืองจุดตรงกลาง” ให้ดูเรียบร้อย ไม่ต้องหรูแต่ดูเคารพสถานที่ อีกคำถามที่คนชอบค้นหา: “ไหว้เจ้าที่กลางแจ้งได้ไหม” ถ้าบ้านไหนมีศาลเจ้าที่นอกบ้าน ก็ไหว้กลางแจ้งที่ศาลได้เลย แต่ถ้าไม่มีศาลและอยากไหว้แบบง่าย ๆ ในบ้านก็ทำได้เหมือนกัน เคล็ดลับที่เรายึดคือ “หันหน้าโต๊ะออกทางหน้าบ้าน” และเลือกมุมที่สงบ ไม่วางเกะกะทางเดิน ส่วนธูป ถ้าไม่สะดวก (ควัน/คอนโด/แพ้ง่าย) ใช้เทียนอย่างเดียวก็ได้ เน้นตั้งจิตให้ดี ขั้นตอนที่เราทำแล้วรู้สึกสบายใจ: 1) ทำความสะอาดพื้นที่ที่จะตั้งของไหว้ก่อนเล็กน้อย 2) จัดของไหว้ให้เป็นระเบียบ น้ำไว้ด้านหน้า ไข่ต้มและส้มวางคู่กัน 3) จุดเทียน แล้วพูดคำบอกกล่าวเจ้าที่/เจ้าทางด้วยชื่อนามสกุลตัวเอง ขอขมาในสิ่งที่ล่วงเกิน (ตั้งใจพูดช้า ๆ) 4) ขอพรเรื่อง “ความร่มเย็น ความคล่องตัว เงินงาน และความสงบในบ้าน” แบบเฉพาะเจาะจงพอดี ๆ 5) รอให้เทียนดับเอง แล้วค่อยเก็บของไหว้ หลังไหว้เราแนะนำให้ “แบ่งไข่ต้มกับส้มกินในบ้าน” หรือแจกให้คนอื่นก็ได้ ถือเป็นการต่อบุญ และวันนั้นพยายามพูดดี คิดดี ไม่หาเรื่องกันในบ้าน (อันนี้เหมือนเป็นการตั้งโทนพลังงานให้บ้านจริง ๆ) ถ้าใครยังลังเลเรื่องจำนวนไข่ต้ม ให้เริ่มจาก 3–4 ฟองก่อนก็ได้ ทำให้ต่อเนื่องแบบไม่กดดัน แล้วสังเกตความรู้สึกในบ้านและจังหวะชีวิตของตัวเองค่ะ
