I enjoyed a classic juicy burger with crispy french fries at a local eatery, which was perfect for a relaxed lunch after all that walking. And you absolutely cannot leave Annapolis without grabbing some ice cream! I stopped by Napolis Cream Co., and their creamy treats were the perfect way to cool down after a day of exploring. Their illuminated sign is so inviting, and the variety of flavors is incredible. It’s a truly delightful experience. Shopping in Annapolis is another highlight. I stumbled upon several charming boutique clothing stores that had such unique pieces. I spotted everything from stylish checkered coats to cozy sweaters, perfectly fitted jeans, and beautiful handbags and elegant jewelry. It's a great place to find something special you won't see everywhere else, whether you're looking for a new outfit or a unique souvenir. The waterfront is undeniably the heart of Annapolis. The harbor is always bustling with activity, with countless boats and yachts docked, creating a picturesque scene. Taking a stroll along the pier is a must – you can watch the boats, enjoy the fresh air, and just soak in the nautical atmosphere. You might even consider a harbor cruise or even renting a kayak to see the city from a different perspective. Even just sitting by the water, watching the sailboats glide by under a clear blue sky, is incredibly relaxing and peaceful. The maritime history here is palpable.
