Went to buy an instrument that Japan accidentally bought
On April 6-10, 2026, I went to Japan on a mission to take the elementary school band to Japan on Star Of Asia. Our student band competed on the 9th day, so we went on a trip. On the 7th, to Kamakura, on the 8th, to Ochanomizu, on the 9th, took the student band to Nichi, and finished the race, and went back to Ochanomizu for another bass.
The story is that the day to Ochanomizu on the 8th and keep picking things, but I don't intend to buy them because I didn't exchange enough money to buy a musical instrument, but I made a Youtrip card in case, and the bank app that I have can pay through Union Pay (I don't exchange money, but the money is ready to buy, hehe).
On the first day of the walk of the instrument shop, there was nothing more eye-catching than the bass in the picture. There was this model at another store, but not as pleasant as this one. More expensive, but I wanted this one anyway.
The peak of the event was that I sold my stock and bought it and had to wait one business day. The first day I went to the bass, so I still didn't pay. After the 9th, I went back to get the bass at Ochanomizu again. And even more chaotic, I accidentally dropped my transfer limit per day until I forgot. More stressful, it was to adjust the limit and have to wait two days. I started to steal things and couldn't pay. And the day I intended to pay was the last day before flying back with a rough job.
Fortunately, I got a friend who was shopping at Ikebukuro to help me pay with two cards and then pay back in Thai money later, so I got this base to accidentally prepare the money to buy it. Everything happened so fast.
Again, this bass was already in my hands in Thailand.
การเดินทางไปญี่ปุ่นในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นประสบการณ์ที่น่าประทับใจมาก เพราะไม่ได้ตั้งใจซื้อเครื่องดนตรีเลย แต่สุดท้ายกลับได้เจ้ากีตาร์เบสตัวโปรดมาครอบครองโดยบังเอิญ ย่าน Ochanomizu เป็นเขตที่มีชื่อเสียงในด้านร้านขายเครื่องดนตรีมือสองและมือหนึ่งหลากหลาย ที่นี่เป็นสวรรค์สำหรับนักดนตรี ไม่ว่าจะเป็นกีตาร์, เบส, กลอง หรือเครื่องดนตรีสากลอื่นๆ ผมได้แนะนำให้ลองเดินเลือกดูก่อน อย่ารีบร้อน เพราะเครื่องดนตรีแต่ละชิ้นมีรายละเอียดและสภาพที่ต่างกันมาก การเลือกอย่างมีสติช่วยให้ได้ของที่ถูกใจและคุ้มค่าที่สุด ในด้านการจ่ายเงิน การเตรียมตัวเรื่องวิธีจ่ายเงินสำคัญมาก โดยเฉพาะเมื่อต้องใช้บัตรเงินต่างประเทศ เช่น YouTrip หรือบัตรที่รองรับ Union Pay จึงควรเช็กวงเงินและเงื่อนไขการโอนเงินก่อนเดินทาง ผมเองเจอปัญหาวงเงินโอนที่ถูกตั้งไว้ต่ำโดยไม่ได้ตั้งใจ และต้องใช้เวลาในการรอปรับวงเงินอยู่หลายวัน ซึ่งทำให้เครียดเพราะใกล้ถึงวันบินกลับแล้ว แต่โชคดีที่มีเพื่อนช่วยสนับสนุนให้ใช้บัตร 2 ใบจ่ายร่วมกันก่อน แล้วค่อยคืนเงินทีหลัง เท่านี้ก็แก้ปัญหาเฉพาะหน้าไปได้อย่างราบรื่น ซึ่งเป็นประสบการณ์ที่อยากแนะนำให้ทุกคนที่วางแผนซื้อเครื่องดนตรีในต่างประเทศควรมีเพื่อนร่วมทางหรือแผนสำรองเรื่องการเงินด้วย สุดท้าย การได้เครื่องดนตรีที่ตัวเองชอบโดยไม่ได้ตั้งใจครั้งนี้ทำให้ผมรู้สึกโชคดีและตื่นเต้นมาก นอกจากจะได้เครื่องดนตรีคุณภาพดีแล้ว ยังได้เรียนรู้เรื่องการวางแผนและเตรียมตัวในเรื่องการจ่ายเงินในต่างประเทศอีกด้วย ใครที่สนใจจะไปเดินเล่นหรือล่าเครื่องดนตรีที่ญี่ปุ่น แนะนำให้ทำการบ้านเรื่องร้านค้า ย่าน Ochanomizu ถือว่าตอบโจทย์อย่างมาก และอย่าลืมเตรียมวิธีจ่ายเงินให้พร้อม จะได้ไม่พลาดโอกาสดีๆ ที่อาจเกิดขึ้นแบบไม่ตั้งใจเหมือนผม
