Happy Friday with a lot of crowds during the lunch peak hour.
Went to dabao lunch at Paya Lebar Quarter Kopitiam. I came across a Taiwanese stall~ “Alishan Taiwanese Cuisine 阿里山台湾美食“ which is new to me.
I ordered my favourite braised meat rice with tomato 爆汁番茄卤肉饭 for $6.90 (after 10% discount is $6.41). It is unique as is the first time I have ever tasted the rice with tomatoes.
The juicy sour-sweet tomatoes combined with the rich umami sauce of the braised meat is appetizing. They also gave a generous amount of sauce which is yummy, the rice will not be too dry too.
