i made this design a while back after i received a cute sticker that said “Jesus loves Cowboys”. I thought the design was so simple yet straight to the point i wanted to make one that could relate to all people! and what do we all have in common? you might have guessed it! it’s sin.
i got my degree in graphic design, but don’t work in the field at the moment. i enjoy doing design work for fun and now for a purpose!
while making the design the verse Romans 5:8 came to my mind as the perfect reference for the meaning behind the sticker! “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” That verse brings us such great news!! and it’s not just because Christ made an atonement for our sins, but that He did it for us while our hearts were still turned from God. we didn’t have to do enough good deeds to receive salvation or stay away from enough “bad” things.
God wants a deep and personal relationship with you. His love is beyond human comprehension, and for that He sent Jesus to give us the opportunity to be in relation with Him forever! without us having to try and fix all of the things wrong with us first! that’s pretty loving if you ask me.
i only ordered a small handful of these stickers. i thought i might stick them around my town and let God use them as He might. If you have other ideas I would love to hear them!!
