2026 brides, listen up! 🫶🏻

1️⃣ Skin prep = makeup that lasts

Good skin = good base, period.

If you’ve been doing facials, keep going. Your last session should be about 1–2 weeks before the wedding (earlier if your skin needs recovery time).

Level up your home routine and pls don’t ghost your SPF ☀️

2️⃣ Delegate, don’t stress

You are the bride, not the event manager bestie.

Pass the logistics to your bridal party (banquet, timings, transport etc) so you can sit pretty and enjoy getting glammed.

Bonus: your MUA works faster when you’re not replying texts every 10 minutes. 😏

3️⃣ Book your vendors early

If you like them, secure them. ASAP, bc your dream team is already in someone else’s cart.

4️⃣ Romanticise the journey

Planning can get chaotic, we know.

When it does, pause, breathe, and remember what this is all about — you + your person. Everything else is background noise. 🩷

... Read moreAs someone who recently went through the wedding planning process, I can attest to how crucial these tips are for making your special day smooth and enjoyable. Starting with skin prep, I discovered that maintaining consistent skincare, especially prioritizing SPF, really helped my makeup look flawless throughout the day. Scheduling a facial about two weeks before the wedding gave my skin a healthy glow without any irritation. Delegating tasks to your bridal party truly lightens the mental load. I found that by entrusting logistics like transportation and timing to close friends, I could focus on enjoying the moments with my makeup artist — who indeed worked more efficiently without me interrupting every few minutes! This approach helped keep stress levels low and the excitement high. Booking your vendors early cannot be overstated. The vendors we loved were snapped up quickly, so locking in your preferred team prevents last-minute compromises. From photographers to florists, securing them early ensures your vision comes to life. Finally, romanticizing the journey helped me stay grounded. Wedding planning can feel overwhelming, but pausing to reflect on the love and commitment behind the event made every decision more meaningful. Remembering that you and your partner are the center of it all allows background noise to fade, enabling you to savor this unique chapter in your life.

Hello! May I ask do brides usually choose to touch up their make up before first march in or only do a style change before second march in? 😊
