Guess i’m in my bridal era 👗

The best part of being a bride-to-be is getting to play dress up and I’ve been making the most of it. Over the past few months, I visited five different bridal studios in Singapore to try on gowns and eventually picked my final two 🥹

At the end of the day, I realised that beyond the gowns, the service and vibe really shape the experience. Feeling comfortable, understood, and a little bit special makes all the difference. After all, it’s your big day - you want somewhere (and someone) you can fully trust to make you look your best.

Just 5 more months to go until Jan 2026, and a million more things to do! Documenting bits of the process here and there (if I don’t get too lazy).

💬 Fellow brides-to-be: how has your gown shopping experience been? Did you find “the one” easily or was it a whole process?

... Read moreDuring my bridal gown shopping, I found that visiting different studios gave me a clearer idea of my style and preferences. Each studio offered something unique — for example, Love Wedding Atelier had a modest but friendly vibe with prices under $2k, though stylist suggestions were limited. House of Ivory surprised me with its stunning Australian designer gowns, exceptional service, and customization options for prices starting around $3k. Meanwhile, Bridefully Yours impressed me with a huge, affordable selection under $1k, ideal for brides on a budget despite a more casual environment. The Ivory Bridal was very popular but felt cramped with a colder service atmosphere, despite having designer gowns priced between $3k and $8k. Truly Enamoured was definitely the premium pick with the most dreamy designer labels like Oscar, Vera Wang, and Elie Saab. Their warm, professional staff made the whole experience feel special, even considering prices up to $10k+. Reflecting on these visits, I learned that comfort with your stylist and the vibe of the studio are just as important as the gowns themselves. For any bride-to-be, I'd recommend booking appointments at multiple studios to try as many styles as possible. Don’t hesitate to communicate what you want clearly — I found that studios varied in how proactive their stylists were. Also, consider your budget and how flexible the studio is with appointments and photos. It’s your day, so finding a place where you feel understood and beautiful makes all the difference. Sharing my journey has been so helpful, and I hope it inspires other brides to enjoy their dress shopping as much as I did!
