As a fan of science fiction and mythological tales, I found 'Mecha-Myth' to be a refreshing blend of classic epic storytelling with a futuristic twist. The anthology masterfully combines robots and rogue characters to retell myths in an entirely new light, making it engaging for both traditional myth enthusiasts and fans of high-tech adventures. What stood out to me was the way author Jon McBrine introduced the concept of 'Eric Icarus Mythos,' weaving untold tales of a super society where technology and ancient legend collide. This approach redefines the traditional odyssey by replacing the usual heroic journey with a narrative driven by robotic beings and complex motives such as revenge, which adds depth and intensity to the storyline. Reading this series felt like embarking on a journey where each story offered a unique perspective on the intersection of myth and machinery.
