strawberry chocolate cake 🍓🎂

i made this cake for my birthday this year & it was everything i’ve ever wanted!!!!

i can be a little weird eating chocolate cake because most of the time it can be too chocolaty & i end up feeling a little sick 🥲 so i had to make sure that this cake was different!

while making this cake is super easy, decorating can be lil difficult & can take some patience.

so some tips i have on decorating that helped me…

- watch plenty of youtube videos on crumb coating & decorating! i’m still pretty new at decorating cakes so watching videos was a must! i will link the videos i watched in the comments so you can copy and paste!

- a cake turntable is a must! it will make your life so much easier!

- freezing the crumb coat before putting the rest of the frosting will make it look more smooth and will lock those crumbs in place so you don’t have any loose crumbs in the final frosting!

When it comes to toppings, consider fresh strawberries and drizzles of chocolate to accent the cake’s flavors while enhancing its visual appeal. Lastly, always remember to have fun while decorating!
