MY NEW OAKCHA COLLECTION
Follow my journey on building my collection, I’ll be reviewing these soon 🤍 #paulreacts #perfume #perfumerecommendations #perfumes #perfumecollection
Hey everyone! I'm so thrilled you're following along on my fragrance journey. As I mentioned, my new Oakcha collection is growing, and I couldn't wait to give you a sneak peek into two scents that have been getting a lot of buzz and that I’m incredibly excited to explore: Oakcha Lemon Cake and Oakcha Cotton Clouds. These are both *extrait de parfum*, which means they're highly concentrated, so I’m expecting some serious longevity and impressive projection from them, which is always a fantastic bonus for my busy days! First up, let's talk about Oakcha Lemon Cake. Oh my goodness, if you love gourmand fragrances, you are absolutely in for a treat! From my initial spritz, this scent immediately transports me to a cozy bakery, with the aroma of something fresh out of the oven. The top notes burst with a bright, zesty lemon, just like the sweet, tangy glaze on a perfectly baked lemon pound cake. It’s far from a harsh, cleaning-product lemon; instead, it's wonderfully sweet and juicy, almost edible. As it settles, I start to pick up on those rich, warm vanilla and buttery cake notes that truly make it smell like a decadent dessert. It’s comforting, playful, and utterly delicious. I can already tell this is going to be my go-to for days when I want to feel cheerful and wrapped in a sweet, inviting aura. It feels like a hug in a bottle! I’m really curious to see how the dry-down develops over a full day’s wear, but so far, it’s pure joy and has me craving a real slice of cake! Next, we have Oakcha Cotton Clouds. This one is a complete contrast to Lemon Cake but just as captivating in its own right. If Lemon Cake is a warm, sugary embrace, Cotton Clouds is like waking up on a crisp, clean morning, surrounded by freshly laundered linens. It’s wonderfully airy, light, and incredibly comforting. My first impression is of a delicate blend of soft musk and a hint of sweet, powdery florals, truly reminiscent of a freshly washed blanket drying in a gentle breeze. It has a beautiful, clean freshness to it, but with an underlying warmth that prevents it from being too sharp or sterile. It feels very innocent and pure, making it perfect for everyday wear, especially when I want something subtle yet noticeably beautiful. It's the kind of scent that makes you feel effortlessly put-together and serene. I envision wearing this for casual outings, a quiet day at home, or even as a comforting bedtime scent. The extrait de parfum concentration here really excites me, as I'm hoping it translates into a long-lasting, ethereal scent bubble that lingers delicately. My initial impressions of both Oakcha Lemon Cake and Cotton Clouds are incredibly positive. They both offer distinct olfactory experiences, showcasing Oakcha's range in crafting unique and high-quality fragrances. I'm genuinely excited to spend more time with these beauties, test their longevity, and see how they truly perform throughout various activities and seasons. Stay tuned, because full, in-depth reviews are definitely on their way once I've had a chance to thoroughly experience each one. Which one are you most excited to try first?
