bc confidence is evidence, not vibes

... Read moreConfidence is more than just a feeling—it's a reflection of consistent actions and self-care routines that reinforce your sense of worth every day. Starting your morning with small, predictable habits like drinking water, getting sunlight, and practicing deep breaths helps your brain transition calmly and prepares you to make bolder choices. This simple practice frees up mental energy, giving you a solid foundation for confidence. Incorporating a short movement routine, such as walking during coffee brewing or doing squats, serves as a promise kept to yourself, which psychologically strengthens your belief in your own capabilities. Continuing these intentional actions with a calming night routine—warm showers, skincare rituals, and turning off your phone—signals your brain to slow down and fosters self-compassion, a key ingredient of true confidence. Taking care of your appearance—even with basic steps like brushing your hair or wearing clean clothes—sends powerful signals to your mind that you are worthy of care. This can be especially important when you're spending time at home and might otherwise neglect these cues. Keeping track of your progress through voice journaling or other means helps you acknowledge your “tiny wins” and prevents you from downplaying your growth. Science shows that performing small courageous acts daily, like asking questions or setting boundaries, builds confidence incrementally. Over time, these micro acts of bravery accumulate into strong evidence of your evolving self-assurance rather than relying on vague notions of “vibes.” By embracing this mindset, you shift from hoping confidence will magically appear to actively creating it through consistent evidence-based habits. Confidence truly is an inside job, nurtured by the intentional choices you make every day.

Sometimes if I wanna feel more confident, I will just pretend to be confident and then it just makes my mind think I’m like beautiful and stuff and it just makes me more confident than I actually was before
