Consistency
I dropped the ball A LOT but this time I’m going to the win!
I’m going for consistency, my determination is consistency, my motivation is consistency…
I’m not going for approval for myself or others , I’m not going with the goal I want to be healthy
My goal is 8-weeks of consistency, I want to be consistent with the work I’m putting in, taking it slow, letting my body tell me when it’s ready for the next step…
And when I feel the need or want to not do it, I make it simple so simple I feel disappointed in myself for cheating , so simple I crave to be better than simple…
Today is 3/3/26 and it makes exactly one month I took consistency serious…
I just started on nutrition , I just started added personal duties back to my schedule to become consistent…
I’m tired of waking up realizing I dropped the ball, the balls in my hand and the only way I’m releasing it is for the win!!!
Starting my journey toward consistent health wasn't easy. Like many, I had moments of dropping the ball, often feeling discouraged. What truly made the difference this time was shifting my mindset to focus entirely on consistency rather than instant perfection or external validation. I set clear, manageable goals — especially with nutrition — and allowed my body to guide the pace. Tracking progress with tools like the ZOZOFIT body fat scanner brought tangible evidence of my effort: measurements showed notable improvements such as a 3.9% decrease in body fat percentage and reduced inches around my waist and hips. This objective feedback fueled my motivation and helped me stay accountable. One of the biggest lessons I learned is the power of simplicity. When I faced days I wanted to skip workouts or indulge unhealthily, I chose habits so simple that even small deviations felt like setbacks. This approach created a positive pressure, pushing me to crave better choices without overwhelming me. Adding personal duties back into my schedule to balance health with daily responsibilities was crucial. It allowed me to develop a sustainable routine, where consistency became natural rather than forced. Now, each day feels like a step forward, and despite previous struggles, I’m confident this time is different because my focus is long-term wellness. For anyone struggling with similar challenges, I recommend embracing patience with your body, celebrating small wins, and using tools and measurements to track progress. Consistency doesn’t mean perfection, but persistent effort. This journey is about releasing old excuses and committing fully — and the results have been worth every small sacrifice.
