Be careful!!!
In the last month I’ve noticed some things & Honestly… I need to understand how i added 8 new bottles of perfume to my collection.. on top of the fragrances I’m already receiving 😅😅 I blame the #perfumecommunity !!!

It's so easy to fall into the 'fragnesia vulnerability' trap, especially when you're part of an enthusiastic community like the #perfumecommunity. I totally get it – one minute you're browsing, the next you've somehow convinced yourself you absolutely need that new release everyone's raving about. It feels like a genuine vulnerability when you're constantly exposed to stunning new fragrances and passionate reviews. I've noticed a few things that contribute to this 'toxic' side of the community. Firstly, there's the sheer volume of new launches. It's hard to keep up! Then, the FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) is real. When everyone else is hyping a scent, you start to question if your own collection is 'enough' or if you're missing out on something truly special. Sometimes, it feels like there's an unspoken pressure to constantly expand 'MY CHOices' for my collection, leading to impulse buys. So, how do we navigate this without completely abandoning our love for perfume? Here are a few things I've tried to keep my fragnesia in check: Set a Budget: Decide how much you're genuinely comfortable spending on fragrances each month or quarter. This helps avoid that unexpected credit card shock. "No Buy" or "Low Buy" Periods: Challenge yourself to not buy any new fragrances for a set period (e.g., three months), or only replace empties. This can help you appreciate what you already own. Sample First: Always, always try a sample or a decant before committing to a full bottle. What smells amazing on others might not be for you, and skin chemistry is everything! Curate, Don't Accumulate: Focus on building a collection of scents you truly love and will wear, rather than just collecting for the sake of having more. Quality over quantity! Unsubscribe from Temptation: If certain influencers or brands trigger impulse buys, consider unfollowing them for a while. Sometimes, a break from constant exposure helps. Shop Your Stash: Rediscover the gems you already own. Sometimes, we forget how beautiful our existing perfumes are, and it feels like a new purchase without the cost. Identify Your Triggers: Is it specific notes, brands, or just the thrill of a new unboxing? Knowing your triggers helps in avoiding them or planning for them. Focus on Wearability: Ask yourself if you'll genuinely wear the perfume often, or if it's just a fleeting desire sparked by hype. Will it fit into your lifestyle? Ultimately, the goal is to enjoy perfume without feeling overwhelmed or financially drained. It's about finding joy in 'MY CHOICES' for my collection, not letting the community dictate every purchase. Let's support each other in mindful fragrancing!

This is so sadly true. Is there a class action suit for us PerfumeTok victims? I need money to buy more perfume!
