Let me be honest…
Once you become a mom, most times, you began to lose yourself. Physically, mentally, and sometimes even emotionally. And when you’re a FTM - it can be so stressful trying to find a routine. I became a SAHM and i found myself always going to Costco & Target, that really was my source of getting out of the house. and then i realized i wanted to get out of the house and do something (not just for my baby) but also for myself! take make me feel like ME again.
i’m going to be SO TRANSPARENT!!! after having my baby, i felt like i didn’t even look the same. and i was really getting into a place where i was unhappy about myself. the way i looked. i became so lazy. i wanted to go to the gym but i moved to a whole other state with no family members. just me and my husband (and our dog lol). so if i wanted to go to the gym who would watch her? my husband works crazy hours and hardly has a day off.
i decided to walk every single day. at least 2 miles or more! and i’ve seen such a DRASTIC change in my health, energy, and my weight! i found the time to take myself and my girl out to get some sunlight, go to the park, and mama gets to feel good about it ✨🤍
moral of the story (and i’m gonna be bold here): if you’re not happy with yourself, YOU need to find time to make yourself feel like you again! As moms, we get so caught up with our babies that we definitely lose ourselves. ITS OKAY TO DO SOME STUFF FOR YOURSELF! Grab that shirt that you loved at the mall, buy the lipstick that looks great on you, go for a run, get ready for nothing, whatever the case may be. mama life can be hectic - trust me i get it! Do what will help you! and FIND the time to do what makes you happy!
