Stress used to sit in my chest like a brick.
I’d feel anxious, overwhelmed, and disconnected — even when I was “doing all the right things.”
But when I started actually prioritizing quiet time with God — not just checking it off — everything changed.
Now when I feel that heaviness creeping in, I pause.
I open His Word, pray, breathe, stretch, move.
My body holds on to stress, and I’ve learned that managing it takes both spiritual peace and physical release.
God never asked us to carry it all. He invites us to lay it down.
