🥂Euro summer, but all year round in SG 🍋

Its summer all year round in SG, so why not take it in your stride and beat the heat at this cool restaurant serving amazing Italian food and drinks. Most were hits so will be coming back again to try the other items!

We had ordered:

ANTIPASTI - overall delicious, the breads were soft yet crispy. My favourite had to be the fried sage with the batter a good balance to the light sage flavours - an amazing bar snack. Oysters were sweet and briny but small, shucking skills could be improved

• FOCACCINA - San Marzano tomatoes $25

• CARBONARA - leeks, guanciale, pecorino coratino, eggs $28

• NORMANDY OYSTERS $42 for half a dozen

• FRIED SAGE - aged ricotta, chestnut honey $18

MAINS - I was mind blown by the value. The pastas were very well made (better than other famous pasta restos in the CBD imo). Cacio e pepe was done well and they took out the cheese wheel to show us how its done, vongole had good clam:pasta ratio; but what REALLY blew my mind was the Ribeye steak that was served tomahawk style. We had asked for medium and they were able to prepare it medium throughout (a task at some places to get it right on a huge slab of meat). Fish was decent but the beef was just too 😋

• SPAGHETTI - cacio e pepe $26

• MAFALDINE - ossobuco, almonds, Primitivo di Puglia $31

• LINGUINE - vongole, parsley, Vermentino IGP $32

• BEEF COSTATA - grass-fed bone-in ribeye $178

• WHOLE SEABASS - olives, Amalfi lemons, capers, san marzano $88

DESSERTS - used high quality evoo which brought out the flavours of the rich and savoury salted ice-cream. Would come back for this 10/10

• BURRATA GELATO - strawberry & tomato jam, EVOO $9

DRINKS - huge array of italian wines which were pretty good. But it was getting too hot at the al fresco so I’d recommend the slushy which was very refreshing.

• ZAHAR MALVASIA 2017 - Malvasia aromatic herbs with hints of dried figs & sage $32

• SLUSHY - WATERMELON COCONUT & ELDERFLOWER MINT $10 (+PROSECCO $2)

• VIRGIN APERITIVO - WHITE FIG $12

📍Address: Fico 1300 East Coast Parkway, East Coast Park Area F, 468964

💰 Price: $45-65pp

⭐ Rating : 4.9/5

Fico

... Read moreIf you’re planning a visit to Fico, here are a few tips that made my dining experience even better. The fried sage appetizer is an absolute must-try, with its perfect balance of crispy batter and delicate sage aroma. It’s not just a snack but a flavor revelation that pairs wonderfully with their selection of Italian wines. When ordering the mains, don’t hesitate to try their beef costata ribeye served tomahawk style — it’s not only visually impressive but perfectly cooked throughout, a challenge many restaurants struggle with. The pasta dishes like mafaldine with ossobuco and spaghetti cacio e pepe stand out for their authentic taste and generous use of quality ingredients. To balance the savory flavors, end your meal with the burrata gelato paired with strawberry and tomato jam drizzled in extra virgin olive oil. This unique dessert elevates the flavor profile and leaves a lasting impression. Seating outdoors can get warm during the day, so I highly recommend their watermelon coconut elderflower mint slushy with prosecco for a refreshing treat. It’s a fantastic way to cool down while enjoying the lively atmosphere. Overall, Fico offers a stylish yet cozy environment perfect for anyone craving an authentic European summer vibe right in Singapore’s tropical climate. Whether you’re a pasta lover, a steak enthusiast, or keen on unique dessert experiences, this place has it all, promising a satisfying meal that I can’t wait to repeat.

The answer sadly is…yes if you want to conquer all the famous tourist attractions during high season in summer 🥺 the chairlifts/cable cars and parking can add up to quite a lot - for example, reserving a parking space at Tre Cime for the hike is 40 euros (that is about 60 sgd), which is essenti
