9 REASONS YOU SHOULD VISIT KANAB UTAH
Ok I lied…there are actually SO many more reasons to visit Kanab…but I had to narrow it down cause I couldn’t add any more pictures!
But let me tell you - Utah is one of the most fascinating states…filled with so many beautiful and unique landscapes. There is SO much to do here, you could spend a week and not even scratch the surface!
Kanab makes a great “home base” if you want to explore Utah, as it’s pretty central to all of the major sites. PLUS Kanab is a super adorable town, with great accommodation options and an INCREDIBLE restaurant scene!
Here are some things you should definitely check out if you make it there:
-Zion National Park - obviously!
-The Wave - will make you feel like you are on another planet!
-Bryce Canyon- incredible hiking with incredible views!
-Moqui Sand Caves
-Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park - go sand boarding, ATVing, or just drive/walk around
-Best Friends Animal Sanctuary - this place is a haven for animals rescued from shelters or other similar environments. They have dogs, cats, goats, pigs, horse, etc… who they help to heal and rehabilitate. They offer tours 4x a day, and you can interact with all of their previous animals. Make sure to book your ticket ahead of time!
-Lake Powell - maybe the coolest boating you’ll ever do! Rent a boat to see the cool land formations by water
-Little Hollywood - this was the set for over 100 Different frontier/Wild West movies. Now it’s a museum and you can wander around the historic set!
