5 Genius Ways I Use a Lint Roller at Home
I like to multi-use every item. A lint roller looks simple but it’s actually can do a lot more than just for clothes.
Here are some of my favorite ways to use it around the house:
1. Dusting fly screen. I watch the fly screen regularly but it’s still dusty and sometimes has dirts after storm. So dusting it between the washes is necessary. I feel more comfortable when I get fresh air in the morning that it won’t bring a lot of dust inside the house.
2. Rolling over drawers before organizing. It’s easier to collect all the little small things than using a wipes or towels.
3. Picking up glitters. Every time I cleaned glitters felt like they’re never gone😂 Using lint roller can collect them and not flying around.
4. Cleaning Fabric lampshades without damaging them.
5. Cleaning inside hang bags/ purses.

Lint rollers are often underestimated as just simple tools for removing pet hair or lint from clothing. However, their sticky sheets make them incredibly versatile for various quick cleaning tasks around the home. One effective use is dusting window fly screens. After storms or regular exposure, fly screens accumulate dust and dirt, which can impact indoor air quality. Using a lint roller between washes gently removes these particles, ensuring fresh air flow without carrying dust inside. Another smart application is cleaning drawers before organizing them. Instead of wipes or towels, rolling a lint roller inside collects crumbs, hair, and dust easily, speeding up the tidying process. After crafting, glitter and sequins can scatter and be hard to sweep away; a lint roller attracts and picks up these tiny particles efficiently, preventing them from flying around. Fabric lampshades collect dust and pet hair as well, and traditional cleaning methods risk damaging the delicate material. A lint roller cleans fabric lampshades gently and effectively, preserving their appearance. Lastly, purses and handbags often harbor crumbs, lint, and small debris that are difficult to remove. Using a lint roller inside the bag quickly collects all unwanted particles, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. For best results, choose a lint roller with strong adhesive sheets and replace the sheets regularly. Keep one handy in various rooms or areas you frequently clean. These multi-purpose uses transform a simple lint roller into a convenient tool for maintaining a neat and dust-free home environment.

Using it on fly screens? That’s actually kinda smart, might have to try that instead of just ignoring them
