... Read moreFrom my personal experience and talking with others who face similar issues, consuming cheese or other dairy products late at night can sometimes make sleep uncomfortable, especially if you are lactose intolerant. Lactose intolerance means your body struggles to digest lactose—a sugar found in milk and cheese—which often results in bloating, gas, and stomach aches. These physical discomforts can interrupt peaceful sleep and may cause your brain to produce more vivid or even frightening dreams. Interestingly, some studies suggest that the discomfort from your digestive system might be interpreted by your brain as more intense or bizarre dreams, contributing to nightmares. However, it's important to understand that cheese itself isn't directly proven to cause nightmares for everyone. For those without lactose intolerance, a late-night cheese snack might have little to no negative effect on sleep quality. In my situation, when I’ve eaten a heavy or fatty meal, including cheese, right before bed, I tend to experience restless nights with unusual dreams. This matches what researchers have found—eating fatty foods late can disrupt sleep cycles. If you frequently notice bad dreams after eating dairy, it might be worth experimenting with your diet to see if avoiding cheese before bedtime improves your sleep. Ultimately, maintaining a balanced diet and allowing time to digest food before sleeping can contribute to better rest. If nightmares or sleep disturbances persist, talking to a healthcare professional about possible food intolerances could be beneficial. This practical approach not only aids in better sleep quality but also helps you understand how your body and diet interact at night.

Genting without theme park 🍃
I was reluctant to visit Genting in fear of the crowded theme park to entertain the kids. In the end we didn’t even have to leave the property.. You can literally spend the whole day (even days) to explore the facilities. The Premium Suite (Tower A) we booked is spacious enough for 3 families

Spend smartly in this economy!!
I used to spend a lot on beauty maintenance every month, I did some calculations and that adds up to thousands of dollars on a yearly basis. Lately I’ve been a lot more conscious of my spending habits and have switched to DIY/doing at home instead of spending hundreds of dollars going to salons.
