Hey everyone! You know how much fun it is to create content, but what you often don't see is all the magic that happens behind the scenes of a big shoot day. Recently, my sisters and I had an epic JUST KASS Shoot Day for the website, and let me tell you, it was a whirlwind of laughter, teamwork, and a few hilariously unexpected moments. Getting ready for a shoot day like this always starts way before the camera even comes out. It's not just about picking out cute robes or the perfect outfits; it's about brainstorming concepts, coordinating schedules, and making sure everyone's energy is on point. For this particular shoot, the vibe was all about capturing our sisterly bond and the fun we have together. We wanted it to feel authentic, effortless, and, most importantly, "us." When we finally got to the location, the real fun began. Trying to get the right angles for every shot can be quite the challenge, especially when there are three of us involved! It definitely requires a lot of *teamwork*. One sister might be holding a reflector, another is cracking jokes to get genuine smiles, and someone else is making sure the hair isn't flying everywhere. It’s a constant dance, and sometimes it really sounded like pure chaos, but it's always worth it for those perfect shots. Speaking of chaos, you guys might have heard about some of our antics. One of the funniest moments of the day involved Preslee. Bless her heart, she kept getting *up stuck in the elevator*! Not once, not twice, but multiple times! Every time the doors closed, we'd hear a little yelp, and there she'd be, giggling but slightly exasperated. It just added to the whole "what it really sounded like" experience on set. We couldn't stop laughing, and honestly, those unscripted moments are often the best memories. Working with your BEST SISTERS on a project like this is truly special. There are times when you have to be so serious and focus on the task at hand, but most of the time, it's just pure joy. Nayvee and I were constantly trying to keep the energy high, even when we were getting tired. We know that the genuine connection we share translates to the photos, and that's what makes JUST KASS content so relatable. For anyone thinking about doing a photoshoot with friends or family, my biggest tip is to embrace the unexpected. Don't strive for absolute perfection because sometimes the most authentic and memorable moments come from the bloopers and the laughter. Make sure to have a good playlist, plenty of snacks, and a team that makes you feel comfortable and confident. And if you have an elevator nearby, maybe just take the stairs if Preslee is around! Haha! It’s all about creating those beautiful memories while capturing stunning visuals.
