New welcome video I’m adding to my Trainerize.me profile. Aka my de facto website. Some of my experience, training philosophy and overview for potential clients.
From my own journey dealing with fitness challenges and mental health, I've come to deeply appreciate the importance of patience and understanding in training. When clients come to me, I prioritize listening to their unique circumstances and goals, crafting workout plans that respect where they are now while encouraging gradual and manageable improvements. For those starting out or overcoming mental roadblocks, incorporating movement should feel accessible, not overwhelming. In my experience, blending group fitness energy with personalized virtual coaching helps maintain accountability while allowing flexibility. This combination supports a sustainable routine that clients are more likely to stick with over time. I’ve also worked on youth fitness programs, which taught me the value of creating engaging and age-appropriate exercises that foster a lifelong positive relationship with physical activity. Across all client types, my guiding philosophy is that fitness is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor—it must adapt to each person's life situation, mental health status, and preferences. Balancing training demands with compassion and moderation helps clients avoid burnout and injury, leading to a more rewarding fitness journey. Ultimately, my role is to empower each individual, ensuring their progress is realistic and maintaining a supportive environment where mental and physical wellness go hand in hand.
