Don’t let others dictate your progress
When you stop allowing others to tell you they don’t see progress keep showing up. Your past self will thank you later

One thing I've learned through my own journey in the gym and weightlifting is how important it is to tune out negative opinions that try to minimize your progress. It can be really discouraging when others say they don't see growth or improvement, especially when you're putting in consistent effort. But the reality is, progress isn’t always immediately visible to outside observers—or even to ourselves sometimes. A helpful mindset is to focus on showing up regularly, whether that means consistently picking up your weights, maintaining your workout routines, or even doing the small tasks like cleaning up the gym mats after your session. Little acts of responsibility and discipline, like picking up weights and putting down mats when finished, mirror the larger commitment to your personal growth and respect for the gym environment. I’ve found that embracing #progressnotperfection really helps—it's about celebrating the small wins and understanding that growth is a gradual process. Whether you are in military training, a casual gym goer, or a dedicated weightlifter, perseverance beats perfection every time. Your past self will thank you for the consistent effort today. Remember, your progress is your own, and it’s often invisible until you look back weeks or months later. Keep a workout journal or photos if that helps you see how far you have come. Ignore the voices that push doubt; your determination in showing up each day is what ultimately shapes your success.
