Dorm room

These are my dorm room essentials!

I lived in a dorm this past year, being a freshman in college. When I say I live by these things in my dorm, I mean it! I hope this helps :)

•Nightstand with drawers!- I keep all my vitamins, hair/ skin products, and much more! They provide so much storage!

•Multi charging pad: this allows me to charge my phone, AirPods, and apple watch all at once and with the use of one outlet! Saves space and gets rid of the clutter of multiple cables.

•Coffee maker: I love my morning coffee and this is my saving grace in college! Allows me to save money by making my own rather than buying one everyday!

•Light up mirror: this is own of my favorite things in my room! I have all 8am classes so I am always up before my roommate. This allows me to have a little bit of light while getting ready and still being respectful of my roommate! Also it’s the perfect lighting for when I am doing my skincare and makeup.

•Dry erase calendar: This is a MUST HAVE for me! It allows me to visibly see all the upcoming events and things I have to do and keeps me on track. I also love that I can customize it by the month!

•Mini broom: I use this almost everyday to ensure my space is as clean as possible. This is very useful because it is small, but gets the job done and can be easily stored on my hanger without taking up any space at all!

•Storage bin: this is very much needed for extra space in your dorm! I use it to put my extra blankets and sheets in there! Also can function as a stepping stool up to the raised dorm beds, or even for extra seating if you have guests!

•Plant: lastly, this is something fun that I love in my dorm! I have a fern that I had since summer semester of 2023 and it is still healthy and going strong. I feel that having this fern allows me to be responsible for something, especially for those who have pets. I have two pets at home that I love and deeply miss, but having a plant allows me to care for something and look at it and instantly feel happy. I know it might sound cringey, but for sure something worth sharing!
