Give Yourself Some Grace 🌸

Here are a few tips to ease yourself when life is honestly just life’ing.

1. Wake up early, drink some water, and go on a morning stroll - Early mornings are not for the weak, trust me… I am the weak!! 😂 But when my days get super stressful, a nice morning stroll to start the day is super therapeutic. It’s a great way to ease my mind and let go of some of the stress.

2. Pray 🙏🏾 - When life gets tough, take it to God. He knows exactly what you’re going through, and He’s got a plan. Like it says in Philippians 4:6-7, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you’ll experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.” Trust in Him, ask for strength and guidance, and He’ll lead you to a place of peace and clarity.

3. Journaling… I’ll say it again… JOURNALING!!! - Go to TJ Maxx, Target, Office Depot, IDC!! Find the cutest little journal and WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING!!! I cannot stress enough how much journaling has improved my mental health. When I write down my thoughts, they no longer stick around in my mind. It all goes into writing, and I can just close the book. I never go back to reread anything; I simply write what I’m thinking and close the book.
