... Read moreHey everyone! Since I'm new here and so excited to share my life with you, let me give you a little sneak peek into my typical 'Get Ready With Me' routine, especially as a 21-year-old university student who also works! Life gets pretty hectic, so my GRWM often needs to be quick but effective.
My morning usually starts with hitting snooze once (or twice, let's be real!). Then, it's straight to the bathroom for my skincare. I keep it simple: a gentle cleanser, a vitamin C serum to brighten things up, and a lightweight moisturizer with SPF. Hydration is key, especially when you're constantly on the go between lectures and work shifts. I've learned that a consistent, simple routine beats a complicated one I can't stick to.
Next up is makeup, and again, I'm all about speed and a fresh, natural look. I usually go for a tinted moisturizer or a light foundation to even out my skin tone, a touch of concealer under my eyes (those late-night study sessions, you know!), a quick swipe of mascara, and a little brow gel to keep things tidy. Sometimes, if I have an extra five minutes, I'll add a pop of blush and a tinted lip balm. It's all about looking put-together without spending an hour in front of the mirror.
Choosing an outfit (my OOTD!) is probably where I spend the most time, but even that's usually decided the night before. Comfort is non-negotiable for university and work, but I still love to express my style. Think comfy jeans, a cute top, and my favorite sneakers, or a relaxed midi dress. It needs to be something I can easily move in, whether I'm rushing to a class or running errands after work. I often find myself mixing and matching pieces to create new looks with what I already have.
Finally, before heading out, I grab my essentials: backpack, water bottle, and a quick spritz of my favorite perfume. And of course, a quick check in the mirror to make sure everything's in place! It might not be the most glamorous routine every day, but it's my realistic GRWM that helps me feel confident and ready to tackle whatever my day as a university student and employee throws at me. I'm excited to share more detailed GRWMs, product reviews, and daily vlogs with you all soon. Let me know in the comments if you have any go-to quick GRWM tips for busy days!
