New Sketch Series?
In an unfortunate turn of events my new sketch series will be started/revealed tomorrow. It was meant to be today, however, I made a rookie parenting mistake and left my sketchbook unsupervised with a toddler who knew where I left a pen earlier today. 🥹😂

Creating art can be unpredictable, especially when toddlers are involved. They bring a unique perspective and sometimes unexpected surprises to the creative process. Embracing those moments can lead to delightful outcomes that inspire new art styles. Engaging children in art is not just about the product but also the experience. It fosters their imagination and develops motor skills. Many parents find that allowing toddlers to scribble or color can serve as a wonderful bonding experience. Techniques such as finger painting or using large crayons can enhance both parent and child enjoyment. Moreover, incorporating nature into your sketch series can be encouraged. For example, sketches inspired by plants like Chickweed, which is known for its vibrant green leaves and distinct white flowers, can be an excellent addition to your collection. Always remember to keep a positive mindset when parenting and creating art at the same time. Each mess may turn into a masterpiece and each mistake is a step towards learning both for you and your child.
