Homemade recipe:surprising ingredient combo
So I made this totally on accident I was trying to just make a frosting/ vanilla coffee but Instead ended up with a coffee taste just like a vanilla doughnut. I’m not sure WHICH part of this makes it taste like the doughnut but it just does and I’m obsessed.
Obviously this isn’t an in depth recipe more so for people who already make coffee at home and wing the ingredients 😅 but you get the idea.
MAKE SURE the powdered sugar and cream cheese are melted / dissolved so it’s not clumpy.
Let me know what you think!!

When I first stumbled upon mixing cream cheese frosting into my coffee, I was skeptical about how it would turn out. But to my surprise, it gave the whole drink a rich and creamy texture with a subtle tang that beautifully mimicked the flavor of a vanilla doughnut. It’s amazing how simple ingredients like melted cream cheese and powdered sugar, when combined properly, can transform a regular coffee into something so indulgent and dessert-like. For anyone experimenting at home, I recommend using a good quality instant coffee or your favorite brewed coffee as the base. Melt the cream cheese frosting slowly to ensure it dissolves completely—this step is crucial to avoid clumps and achieve a smooth texture. Adding vanilla syrup or vanilla flavor enhances the sweetness and aroma, tying all the flavors together. This recipe is particularly great for iced coffee lovers looking to mix things up without complicated steps or obscure ingredients. Plus, making it at home allows you to control sweetness and richness, which is a bonus if you prefer customizing your drinks. If you’re into food combos and DIY iced coffee ideas, this doughnut latte is definitely worth a try. It’s not just a drink but a fun, creative way to enjoy coffee with a twist. Let me know if you try it and what variations you come up with—like maybe adding a sprinkle of cinnamon or a drizzle of caramel for an extra treat!
