Chocolate peanut butter protein balls

Sweet treat for the week made in less than 10 min!

Super customizable- could replace with any nut butter, could add coconut, m&ms or even walnuts/chopped peanuts !

Ingredients I use:

Oats

Peanut butter

Chocolate peanut butter protein powder

Vanilla extract

Honey

Chia seeds

Chocolate chips

Cinnamon

Steps are listed in images below but essentially… combine all ingredients into one large bowl, mix well and roll into balls. I suggest refrigerating for at least 15-20 min before enjoying. I store mine in the fridge for easy grabs throughout the week!

Enjoy! 😊

... Read moreMaking chocolate peanut butter protein balls has become one of my go-to quick snacks for busy days or post-workout energy boosts. I love how versatile the recipe is — you can easily adjust the texture by adding more oats or peanut butter depending on your preference. Adding chia seeds not only gives a nice nutritional boost but also helps bind the mixture, making the balls easier to roll and hold their shape. One tip I've learned is to lightly toast the oats beforehand; this adds a subtle nutty flavor and enhances the overall taste. If you want to add an extra crunch, tossing in some chopped walnuts or chopped peanuts works beautifully. For a twist on sweetness, I sometimes swap honey with maple syrup or agave nectar. Since the protein powder used here is chocolate peanut butter flavored, it naturally enriches the taste while contributing to muscle recovery. If you don’t have this exact protein powder, vanilla or chocolate-flavored powders can work well too. Don’t forget that a dash of cinnamon brings extra warmth and depth to these treats. After mixing, refrigerating the balls for at least 15-20 minutes is key to firming them up, making them easy to grab on the go throughout the week. I store mine in an airtight container in the fridge and they stay fresh and satisfying for several days. These protein balls are perfect for a quick breakfast bite, a mid-afternoon snack, or a guilt-free dessert. Overall, making these protein balls is a simple, customizable way to enjoy a tasty and nutritious snack that doesn’t take much time or effort. Whether you customize with shredded coconut, M&Ms, or different nut butters, they always hit the spot and keep you fueled!
