For a long time, I was hitting up coffee shops daily just for my fix, especially when I craved that dreamy caramel cappuccino foam on top. But guess what? I've discovered it's actually super easy to whip up your own barista-worthy creations right in your kitchen, and it’s a game-changer for saving money and customizing your drink exactly how you like it! If you're anything like me, you've probably wondered how they get that luscious, cloud-like foam so effortlessly. Well, after some experimenting, I'm excited to share my go-to recipe for making incredible caramel cappuccino foam that will elevate your homemade coffee to a whole new level. Forget the fancy machines; you might already have everything you need! My Easy Caramel Cappuccino Foam Recipe This recipe focuses on recreating that delightful caramel cold foam mentioned in my previous post, which is perfect for topping off any iced or hot coffee. What You'll Need: Milk or Creamer: About 1/4 cup. I often use almond milk or oat milk (my favorite non-dairy creamer for foam!), but whole milk works wonderfully too. The key is to use something with a bit of fat content for the best froth. Caramel Sauce: 1-2 tablespoons, depending on how sweet and "caramel-y" you like it. I love a good quality, thick caramel sauce. Sweetener (Optional): A tiny drizzle of maple syrup or a pinch of sugar if you want extra sweetness, though the caramel sauce usually does the trick! Equipment: A milk frother (electric handheld or a French press works surprisingly well!) A small jar with a lid (if you don't have a frother) Let's Make That Dreamy Foam! Combine Ingredients: Pour your chosen milk/creamer into your frothing device. Add the caramel sauce. If you're using a handheld frother or French press, you can add it directly. If using a jar, combine everything in the jar. Froth Away! Using an Electric Frother: Simply turn it on and let it work its magic until the mixture doubles in volume and becomes light and airy. This usually takes about 30-60 seconds. Using a French Press: Pump the plunger vigorously up and down through the milk and caramel mixture until it's frothy.
