Do You Guys Want Bloopers from me?
So I just found this so funny from this morning because I was trying to do an intro showing my abs and glutes for this mornings workout.
I'm so awkward and never know what to do so in my head when I was recording it it looks good and I played it back and was like nope not it lol
I decided to keep it though so I can compare when my abs finally come in and figured I would share here lol
Do ya'll want more bloopers and behind the scenes videos? 🤔

Seeing perfectly chiseled abs on social media, like those often seen from fitness creators, can be super inspiring – but let's be real, it can also set some pretty unrealistic expectations! My recent blooper trying to film an intro video, where my abs and glutes intro didn't quite go as planned, perfectly sums up the 'expectation vs. reality' of a fitness journey. It's funny in hindsight, but it also highlights that what we often see online is just a tiny, polished snippet. So many of us are trying to get those defined abs, and we scroll through endless feeds, seeing people seemingly effortlessly flaunt their six-packs. But trust me, as someone who’s on this journey, the road to visible abs is rarely smooth or blooper-free! It's a combination of consistent effort, understanding your body, and a lot of patience. It’s not just about endless crunches; it’s a holistic approach. When I was trying to do an intro video, I was hoping for that perfect shot. But the reality is, achieving and maintaining visible abs involves a significant commitment to nutrition. You can do all the core exercises in the world, but if your diet isn't dialed in, those muscles will stay hidden under a layer of fat. A calorie deficit is key for fat loss, but it's equally important to fuel your body with nutrient-dense foods, adequate protein for muscle repair, and healthy fats. Hydration is also a game-changer – sometimes what looks like belly fat is just bloating! Beyond diet, smart training is crucial. Don't just focus on isolated movements. Incorporate compound exercises like squats, deadlifts, and overhead presses, which engage your core naturally. For direct core work, think beyond crunches. Planks (front, side, and variations), hollow body holds, leg raises, and anti-rotation exercises (like Pallof presses) work your core from all angles. Remember, your core isn't just your rectus abdominis (the six-pack muscle); it includes your obliques, transverse abdominis, and lower back muscles, all working together for stability and strength. And let’s talk about consistency and patience. Just like I’m keeping that blooper video to track my progress, achieving abs is a long-term game. There will be days you feel strong, and days you feel like you're not making any headway. Don't compare your Chapter 1 to someone else's Chapter 10. Every body is different, and genetics play a role in how and where we store fat. What works for one fitness creator might not be the exact path for you, and that's perfectly okay. Finally, embrace the 'behind the scenes' of your own journey. Not every workout will be perfect, not every meal will be 'clean,' and you'll definitely have your own blooper moments, especially if you’re trying to do an intro video for your fitness content! That's part of the real, authentic process. Celebrate the small victories, stay consistent, and remember that true fitness is about health and strength, not just what's visible in a picture. Let’s keep it real and support each other through the awkward, awesome, and sometimes hilarious moments of getting stronger!
