「いわや」のぼたん鍋は、味噌ベースの出汁がしっかりとしたコクを持ちながら、野菜から溶け出す水分が加わることでまろやかさが生まれ、最後まで飽きずに楽しめます。具材の多彩さも魅力で、季節の大根や白菜、椎茸、豆腐、蒟蒻などがふんだんに入っており、味わい深いだけでなく栄養のバランスも抜群です。猪肉自体は臭みがほとんどなく、噛むほどに旨味が広がっていくため、初めての人でも食べやすいと思います。 ぼたん鍋の後の〆は残ったスープに卵を入れ、そのまま自家栽培のコシヒカリ白米にかけて食べる方法が絶品です。スープのうま味がご飯にしっかり染み込み、贅沢な雑炊になります。また、付け合わせの漬物も地元で取れた素材で作られており、素朴ながらも食事の良いアクセントに。これだけのメニューを心を込めて提供していることが、リピーターの多さに繋がっているのでしょう。 さらに「いわや」のもう一つの目玉が生きたアマゴの塩焼きです。注文後約50分かけてじっくりと炭火で焼き上げることで、香ばしさとほくほくの食感を楽しめます。骨まで柔らかく、どこか懐かしい川魚の味わいは、丹波篠山の自然を感じられる逸品です。 お店の雰囲気も囲炉裏を囲んだ昔ながらの和の空間が広がり、都会の喧騒を忘れてゆったりと食事を楽しめます。段取りよく働くお母さん方の笑顔も心地よく、サービス面でも満足感があります。遠方から訪れても価値ある一店として、わざわざ足を運びたいという声が多いのも納得です。
