Replying to @Ashley.Renea hopefully this give a little insight. There is SO much information online and lots of fear mongering. I don’t do that here ❤️ no fear mongering, just figuring out what the heck is going on and helping you heal.

When I was first diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, I felt completely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information and the fear it tends to generate. Many sources push medication as the only solution, but I wanted to explore natural ways to heal my body. Over time, I learned that balancing adrenal fatigue and managing cortisol levels play a crucial role in supporting thyroid health. One of the first things I did was focus on my nutrition. Cutting out inflammatory foods and incorporating nutrient-dense options like leafy greens, healthy fats, and lean proteins helped reduce my symptoms significantly. Working with a nutritionist, I realized how important it was to support my adrenal glands, which often get overtaxed by chronic stress and can worsen thyroid issues. I also incorporated lifestyle changes such as prioritizing restful sleep and practicing stress-reducing activities like meditation and gentle exercise. These shifts helped regulate my hormones naturally without the need for prescription drugs. Throughout my healing journey, I stayed informed but cautious, avoiding fear-driven advice, and instead focusing on what truly worked for my body. For anyone new to Hashimoto’s or dealing with adrenal fatigue, my experience shows that with patience, proper nutrition, and holistic self-care, it’s possible to feel better and regain control of your health.
