It’s not that I don’t want to join Hyrox.

It’s just… right now, I think it’s enough to simply exercise regularly.

I have a lot on my plate.

I can’t afford another big competition, mentally, emotionally, or financially.

And honestly?

My daily Pilates every morning already gives me what I need.

It’s the space where I breathe, where I process my thoughts,

where I slow down enough to hear myself again.

I don’t need a big stage.

I don’t need a finish line.

I just need to show up.

Consistently. Gently. Honestly.

This routine fits the season of life I’m in

and I’m learning to be satisfied with that.

And I’m proud of it.

Proud of choosing something sustainable.

Proud of honoring my capacity.

Proud of choosing peace over pressure.

Because sometimes the strongest thing you can do

is choose what works for you.

Note: at Equarius hotel, the reward I got as the top fundraiser 😬 Thank you Singapore Red Cross

... Read moreIn my journey, I discovered that fitness doesn’t have to be about pushing to the extreme or competing on huge stages. For many of us, especially when life feels busy or overwhelming, the most valuable exercise is one that honors our current capacity and brings peace rather than added pressure. Personally, I find Pilates every morning to be a sacred time — a moment to slow down, listen to my body, and reset my mind. It’s become my emotional anchor and a source of wellbeing that feels both sustainable and fulfilling. While the excitement of events like Hyrox can be tempting, it’s important to recognize when a simpler routine suits our needs better. Embracing this approach means celebrating consistency over intensity, and recognizing that showing up for yourself daily is a powerful achievement in its own right. This mindset helped me avoid burnout and maintain balance across mental, emotional, and financial aspects of life. Remember, strength isn’t always about spectacle or competition — sometimes it’s quietly choosing what works best for you. The peaceful routine I follow has been a vital part of my wellbeing journey, allowing me to thrive without added stress. If you’re feeling pressured by big fitness goals or events, trying a gentler, more honest approach might be just what you need to cultivate lasting strength and happiness.
