8D7N PERTH ITINERARY WITH 14 PAX!!🏝

honestly, most of the places we visited required long drives, so we spent quite a few days just being on the road. we went in mid-October — the weather was pretty manageable, around 24–29°C in the day and cooling at night at 13–17°C 🥶

day 1:

- arrived at Perth Airport around 8:40PM and cleared immigration within an hour (just remember to apply for the ETA before arrival!)

- collected our rental cars from Budget and Sixt — we had a large group, so we needed one 8-seater plus two other cars (three in total 🚗🚙🚐)

- grabbed supper at McDonald’s — surprisingly pricey, up to 20 AUD per meal 😅

- checked into Airport Apartments by Vetroblu for the night

day 2:

- Rottnest Island day! 🐾

- thankfully, our apartment let us store our luggage overnight since it isn’t safe to leave them in the car

- parked at b shed frementle for 12 AUD overnight

- booked our ferry via @Rottnest Express — smooth process! we even managed to change to an earlier time on the spot

- stayed in 2 villas booked through @Stay Rottnest - bathurst premium view 6 beds

- explored the island and met the adorable quokkas wandering freely 🐿️

- bought ingredients from the island’s mart (a little pricey!) and had a BBQ dinner right outside our villas

day 3:

- took the ferry back to Perth and collected our luggage

- explored📍Fremantle Markets — super fresh fruits! couldn’t resist getting the strawberries, raspberries, and cherry tomatoes 🍓🍅

- tried Yo-Chi (since we always see long queues in SG 😆) — loved the plain and mango yogurts more than the açai

- dinner at📍Cicerello’s Fremantle — fish & chips and oysters 🦪

- first Woolworths grocery run, then checked into Courtyard by Marriott Perth, Murdoch for the night 🏠

day 4:

- 1h 45min drive to our farm stay Boshack Outback - Perth Eco Farm Stay

- the area was peaceful, mostly nature and a lake view 🌿

- meals were provided, and we joined some of their planned activities:

1️⃣ canoeing (the wind made it tough!)

2️⃣ beeswax candle-making

3️⃣ feeding horses and alpacas

4️⃣ forest walk

5️⃣ BBQ wild food (kangaroo and more)

6️⃣ feeding chickens & collecting eggs

7️⃣ night walk & stargazing ✨

day 5:

- checked out and began our 4–5 hour drive down to📍Margaret River

- stopped by📍bunbury farmers market — perfect for fresh groceries!

- lunch near📍busselton jetty @the goose then checked into our stunning Airbnb (link here: https://www.airbnb.com/l/5FmEHoEN)

- we had plans for the remaining days but ended up staying in to enjoy the beautiful, spacious home 😍

day 6:

- started the day early to cover what we missed the day before

- first stop: Injidup Natural Spa — quiet, stunning spot with beautiful waves and rocks 🌊

- headed to Voyager Estate for wine tasting🍷 — 20 AUD for 5 wines

- long drive back to Perth city afterward (spent half the day driving 😮‍💨)

- grocery stop at Coles — cooking for 14 people easily costs 200–300 AUD outside, so cooking saves a lot!

- checked into our next Airbnb (link: https://www.airbnb.com/l/NP61yrxd) — 3 separate villas within one compound, perfect for large groups, able to also book just 1 villa if you are of a smaller group

day 7:

- visitee Caversham Wildlife Park — saw koalas, kangaroos, and more 🦘🐨, definitely worth the price!

- stopped by📍The House of Honey & The Sticky Spoon Café — their honeycomb ice cream is a must-try 🍯🍦

- grabbed nougats at📍Mondo Nougat, then went shopping at📍Westfield Carousel — this mall is massive! Target, Coles, Woolworths — all under one roof. We even lost track of where our car was parked 😆

day 8:

- planned to visit the blue boat house, but parking was too far away, so we just drove past for a quick photo view

- last stop at DFO Perth for outlet shopping — scored some great deals from CK and new balance 👕👟

- back to Singapore ✈️

that’s a wrap on our 8D7N Perth trip! 🫶🏻 it was a mix of long drives, amazing nature spots, and chill nights with family! If you’re planning a similar itinerary or have any questions, feel free to ask — happy to share more tips! 💚

... Read moreIf you’re planning to explore Perth with a big group, especially around 14 people, organizing transport and accommodations can be tricky. We found that booking multiple vehicles — an 8-seater and two additional cars — gave us the flexibility needed for long drives without cramping everyone into one vehicle. Using apps and services like Rottnest Express made ferry bookings smooth, while checking for luggage storage options upfront helped with flexibility on island days. When traveling to wildlife parks such as Caversham Wildlife Park from nearby suburbs like Maylands, checking driving distances and routes in advance can save you time; Maylands to Caversham takes roughly 30-40 minutes by car depending on traffic. For groceries and retail needs, major hubs like Westfield Carousel combine multiple stores including Coles, Woolworths, and Target under one roof, making it easy to stock up for big groups. If you’re looking for specialized retail outlets or products like Smartrider cards or health supplements, Chemist Warehouse locations around Perth city center often carry these. Budget tips: Eating out for large groups quickly adds up, so buying fresh produce from places like Fremantle Markets and cooking together can be both fun and economical. Also, when booking accommodations, look for Airbnb options with multiple villas or large spaces to give everyone enough privacy while staying close. Finally, the wide open, nature-rich areas around Perth provide excellent spots for relaxation and group activities such as canoeing, stargazing, and farm visits. Pack layers as the weather can shift from warm days to chilly nights in October, ensuring a comfortable and memorable trip for everyone.
